"Mesothelioma - Pneumoconiosis - Asbestos Center" is a unincorporated association（voluntary organization）, which consults for asbestos-related disease victims and their families nationwide. Asbestos-related diseases are malignant pleural mesothelioma, malignant peritoneal mesothelioma, malignant pericardial mesothelioma, asbestos-related lung cancer, benign asbestos pleuritis and diffuse pleural thickening. Also, we suggest avoiding asbestos exposure in the air, study about asbestos problems and examine existed asbestos in our environment.

December 2003, the foundation ceremony of our center was held. In addition to our center, several experienced organizations such as, "Tokyo Occupational Safety and Health Center", "Japan Occupational Safety and Health Resource Center" and "Ban Asbestos Network Japan（BANJAN）", also reply inquiries about workers' compensation problems due to occupational diseases above.

As of March 2018, a total of 992 people received our continuous consultation regarding work-related accidents (394 mesothelioma, 195 with lung cancers. 301 cases had work-related compensation certification. We have experienced the first work-related　compensation cases of mesothelioma caused by sprayed asbestos in various industries, teachers, local government employees, and buildings. We have won Japan's first mesothelioma and lung cancer cases.

We have worked hard to prevent and resolve illegal construction-related renovations and demolition work. We have conducted building surveys, made recommendations regarding asbestos insulation for chimneys, and worked to clarify the dangers of recycled crushed stone. In recognition of this experience, we received the 31st Tokyo Bar Association Human Rights Award in 2016.

December 8, 2023, we were certified as a specified non-profit corporation (NPO) Mesothelioma, Pneumoconiosis, and Asbestos Center in Tokyo. December 19, 2023, we were certified as a specified “non-profit corporation (NPO) Mesothelioma, Pneumoconiosis, and Asbestos Center” registered as a corporation at the Legal Affairs Bureau.

On February 27, 2024, we disbanded the voluntary organization "Mesothelioma, Pneumoconiosis, and Asbestos Center." We have donated our net assets and intellectual property until 2023 to the Mesothelioma, Pneumoconiosis, and Asbestos Center, a specified non-profit organization (NPO). Future activities will be carried on by the Mesothelioma, Pneumoconiosis, and Asbestos Center, a specified non-profit organization (NPO). We look forward to your continued cooperation and support.
